Week in Review

June 28-July 4.

There was much to celebrate this week. Massapequa High School held their graduation exercises and we met their remarkable valedictorian and salutatorian. We also marked our nation's 234th birthday with the annual parade and fireworks. Although the holiday weekend was marred by a terrible act of vandalism an American Legion Post 1066, we also saw the generosity of Massapequa as several people stepped forward to help and the damage was fixed by July 4th. That's certainly worth celebrating!
