For some, this oppressive heat we saw this week, meant staying indoors. Others couldn't wait to get out and enjoy the sunshine. Among those enjoying it were quite a few baseball players from the Massapequa Coast Little League, who sent four teams to sectional tournaments. Others continued to enjoy outdoor events like "Music Under the Stars." While most Massapequans enjoyed themselves, there were a couple of ugly incidents this week. A couple was arrested for allegedly leaving their children in their car while they went shopping and a man was charged with public lewdness for exposing himself outside a pharmacy on Merrick Road. Massapequa Patch was there for all of it, and once again, we thank our staff.
