Week in Review

Week of October 24 to October 31.

The point of our week in review is to look back at the last week in Massapequa. But this week we can't help but look forward.  On Tuesday, we choose many of our elected representatives and shape our future.  We'll know who our new governor is. We'll no if our incumbent legislators in Albany and Washington will hold their seats.  We learned a lot about what the candidates for those offices think about the economy, taxes and education this week, and we 'll see which ideas will take hold. We actually saw one office vacated this week as Jerry Laricchiuta stepped down from the Massapequa Park Village Board. He leaves the stage just as Hollywood began rolling cameras in the village for a major motion picture.  We also saw the end of the Cablevision Fox feud, but not before some local viewers misses a few World Series games.  Thanks to our loyal staff who brought you all the stories. And  we leave you with this reminder: Don't forget to vote.
