This was a great week if you love snow. Not so much if you hate the white stuff. We had a lot of it Tuesday and Wednesday, and a much of it is still on the ground. The storm dumped eleven inches on Massapequa and a lot of frustration on residents. Also frustrated this week were Nassau County leaders who saw a state oversight Board take over the county's finances. County Executive Ed Mangano threatened legal action.
There was also quite a bit of police news as there reports that a possible victim of a serial killer made her last phone call from Massapequa and a terrifying robbery took place at an area gas station.
It was a lot to digest and we thank our staff for brining you these stories.
