Boy Scout Troop 601 ReadyMan Presentation

Tuesday night, December 11, 2012, Boy Scout Troop 601 will be holding it's Annual "ReadyMan" presentation. Readyman is an award for Webloes level Cub Scouts. Troop 601 puts on this presentation in order to help local Cub Scouts earn the award. Our troop demonstrates the proper stocking of a first aid kit and helps the attending Cub Scouts find local emergency phone numbers for their area, among other activities. The most popular activity of the night though is our first aid presentation. Our Boy Scouts, with the help of make up effects, demonstrate various injuries, from sun burn to broken bones and the Cub Scouts are told the proper first aid to give for each injury. If you'd like to come down and attend the event, we will meet at St. Luke's Church, 145 Prospect Street, Farmingdale, NY. The meeting will begin around 8:30PM and runs for about on hour.
