Holiday Craft and Artisan Market

A Holiday Craft Fair and
Artisan Market will be held in Farmingdale, on Saturday, December 14,
2013. Local artisans and small businesses will be present offering a
variety of handmade wares perfect for gift giving. The event will run
from 12 noon until 5 p.m., and will include a chinese auction and
bake sale with proceeds benefitting Project HOPE and Long Island
Cares.

Organizer
and JGA Creations owner Jennifer Avallone who managed the Market at
the Milleridge Village this past April through November is pleased to
have the opportunity to host another event featuring Long Island
crafters and small businesses. The holiday season is the perfect time
to take advantage of the talent Long Island has to offer, while
supporting a good cause. Project HOPE is an international healthcare
organization, while Long Island Cares – The Harry Chapin Food Bank
helps provide resources to benefit the hungry on Long Island. A
collection of non-perishable food items and new, unwrapped toys will
also be held to benefit Long Island Cares, and visitors are invited
to bring donations.

In addition to up to 34
vendor’s wares to peruse, chinese auctions to enter and coffee, tea
and baked goods from the bake sale to enjoy, the day will include
live music for shoppers’ enjoyment. Vendors are still wanted –
contact Jennifer at jgacreations@yahoo.com for more information.
Raffle prizes of a $20 or higher value are being accepted for the
chinese auction from vendors and local business owners in exchange
for sponsorship consideration on the event’s program. Any local
business is welcome to make a donation.
