Downtown New Port Richey has an Awesome Boat Ramp that allows you to troll the river and take in the weather and views. The Cotee River was the Location of Choice for many Silent film Stars and you can float the river and get a clsoe up look at these mini mansions along the river.
Our other favorite place to launch our boat is Hudson Beach. The boat Ramp at Hudson Beach Florida allows you to hit the open Gulf of Mexico Water quickly and easily. If you are piloting a flat bottom boat you can shoot straight out. Most of us need to follow the short channel before hitting open water. Whichever boat ramp you choose, you can be sure that the views at both locations are amazing.
Living on the West Coast of Florida we get to enjoy the most beautiful sunsets in the country. Hudson Beach will actually fill up every night with people watching the sunset. Every time we are there the crowd bursts into thunderous applause at the shear majesty of the event. Once the sun sets you can enjoy dinner and drinks at Sams On the Beach in Hudson. Call me Bias but I feel that the relaxed waterfront lifestyle of West Pasco Florida is by far the best Florida has to Offer. We are just a short ride to Clearwater Beach Florida, Dunedin Florida, Tarpon Springs Florida and Walt Disney World.
