Drug Free Massapequa Junior League - First Meeting
Ages of Members: 12+ (7th-12th grade)
Ages for Officers (9th-12th grade)
Responsibilities of Group:
Find out what's happening in Massapequawith free, real-time updates from Patch.
Set up projects for community service for the members and the community, help DFM run events in the community to build awareness and educate children and their parents to help reduce the drug epidemic in Long Island, to help design and run the teen center to be built in the Town of Oyster Bay district, hold a meeting once a month to educate the members, reach out to students of all communities to build the league throughout Long Island, hand out flyers
Participate for 2 years and be eligible to win one of two $500 college scholarships (2011 winner will be eligible with 1 year - July 2010 to June 2011)
