The Education & Assistance Corporation (EAC) will host its 7th Annual Halloween Party to Protect Children, presented by MSC Industrial Supply Co., on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Crest Hollow Country Club from 6-8:30pm. Children are encouraged to wear costumes, and the party features an interactive carnival of games and prizes, as well as dinner.
At this year’s event EAC will honor James P. Joseph, Esq., managing partner in the firm Joseph & Teeter, P.C. and EAC Board member. James is actively involved with a number of professional organizations and devotes a great deal of his time to community service.
The cost of dinner and the festivities is $100 for adults, $20 for children ages 4-14, and children 3 and under are free.
The Halloween Party to Protect Children will benefit EAC’s Protecting Children Programs that help child victims of abuse and neglect, monitor safe visits with non-custodial parents, help children in foster care secure a permanent home, improve child safety and increase child support collection. Every year thousands of children in need on Long Island are helped though these vital programs.
EAC helped more than 62,500 people last year with a network of 66 programs that provide educational, vocational, counseling and mediation services, rehabilitation for non-violent offenders and support to children, families and senior citizens. For more information about EAC visit www.eacinc.org
