Year in Review: Patch looks back at the feel good stories of the past year.
More than a year after Superstorm Sandy Massapequa is still a community recovering, and most of the feel good stories of the past year have to do with the community coming back from the storm.
Here's a look back at the top "good News" stories of 2013:

- After a one year absence, the Blue Angels will return to the Jones Beach Air Show.
- Lawyer Tracey Discepelo, who was left homeless and lost her practice because of Sandy helped dozens of people and came away with a brand new job.
- South shore woman struggles to rebuild home after Sandy, while working for organization that gave therapy to storm victims.
- A trio of Massapequa Moms raised thousands of dollars for hurricane victims.
