Cat Adoptions- Week of May 20th

For all of you feline lovers out there (and you know who you are), please allow me to introduce a few cats that are available for adoption in Wantagh.

First up, meet Lamar (pictured).  This handsome gentleman is about 6 years young, recently rescued from a hoarding situation.   Lamar makes an awesome lap cat and would love to become a part of your family.  He is currently available for adoption at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.

And just a few cages down is Lamar's buddy, Griffey (pictured).  Griffey is about eight years young and has lived with cats and dogs in the past.  He LOVES attention and also makes a great lap cat.  He is neutered, up to date on all his shots and tested negative for aids/leukemia.

Did you know cats can live 20+ years?? That means these two boys are not even middle-aged!  Please consider adopting cats like Lamar and Griffey.  They are both available for adoption at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter and Adoption Center.

And would you believe Awesome Annie (pictured) is still available for adoption at Last Hope Shelter?   I'm told this is one special Lap Cat who just happens to be an amazing kisser and snuggler.   For more information on Annie, you can check her out on Last Hope’s website at http://lasthopeanimalrescue.org/2012/04/annie/

Also at Last Hope is a Keiko (pictured), A female Russian Blue who is just about a year old.  Keiko holds a special place in my heart because 12 years ago I rescued a Russian Blue who is the most awesome cat ever!  And from what I hear, Keiko has been fostered and is ready to make someone as happy as I am.  For more information on Keiko, check out    http://lasthopeanimalrescue.org/2013/04/keiko/

Wishing everyone a great long weekend and please remember- don't shop, adopt!!
