Christmas Church Services in Massapequa

Christians around Long Island and around the world will celebrate Christmas, the commemoration of the birth of Christ over the next two days.  

Here's a look at some local church services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day:

• St. Rose of Lima: The Roman Catholic Church  located at 2 Bayview Avenue in Massapequa has Christmas Eve masses scheduled for 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 9 p.m. and midnight. On Christmas Day, masses will be held at 8 a.m. 9:30 a.m. 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
• Our Lady of Lourdes: Massapequa Park's Roman Catholic Church located at 855 Carmans Road holds Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day masses scheduled for 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m.
• Grace Episcopal Church: Located at 23 Cedar Shore Drive in Massapequa, they will hold a Christmas Eve family Mass at 5 p.m. There will be Caroling at 10:30 p.m. and a midnight mass that begins at 11 p.m. On Christmas Day, there will be a traditional mass at 9 a.m.
• Massapequa Park Church of the Nazarene : Located at 65 Roosevelt Avenue in Massapequa Park, the church will have a Christmas Eve Candlelight Service at 7 p.m.
• St. David's Evangelical Lutheran Church: THis church located at 20 Clark Boulevard in Massapequa Park will hold a 4 p.m. Children's Service on Christmas Eve at 4 p.m.  At 7 p.m. there will be a Family Service and at 10:30 p.m. there will be a Candlelight Service. On Christmas Day there will be a 10 a.m. service.
