Theodor Giesel would be 108 years old on Friday and it's time to celebrate.
For those of you who don't recognize that name, we're pretty sure you'll recognize his other name, Dr. Seuss.
Now, you could celebrate the day by not eating green eggs and ham, but a better way would be to take part in Read Across America.
This year, the National Education Association, a group of more than 3.2 million educators who work to improve public schools, is calling on book lovers around the nation to take up The Lorax, the popular Dr. Seuss children's book published in 1971 about the lovable creature who fights to save the environment.
