Celebrities, Psychics, and Adoptable Dogs and Cats all Right Here!

What a great week for wonderful cats and dogs available for adoption right here in Wantagh. Read all about Saffron, Rocky, Snow and Jack Nicholson, then try and choose just one!  

And be sure to gather your friends and family for an evening of fun and insight on Saturday, June 28th as Last  Hope hosts an evening with Psychic Medium Gina Simone.  Tickets are $30 pp and includes admission, food, dessert and beverages. There will be Chinese Auction and a 50/50 raffle plus enter for a chance to win a psychic card reading with Rose Jimenez from Violet Rose Reiki!  Doors open at 6:30 PM, Readings being at 7:30 PM.  To be held at The Clubhouse at Merrick Golf Course, 2550 Clubhouse Road, Merrick, NY.  Reserve your space by June 25th. Seating is very limited so purchase your tickets today. Please note that no tickets will be mailed but your name will be placed on our check-in list. And now its my pleasure to introduce you this handsome orange and white kitty with the gorgeous eyes named Saffron.  Saffron was brought to Last Hope Animal Rescue by a volunteer who saw great potential in this purrrfect little man.  Saffron is described as a super guy with an awesome personality.  He is estimated to be about 2 years old.  Why not stop by and check out this spicy little guy!

Also awaiting a new forever home is Rocky.   Rocky is an 8 year old Chow who was adopted from the shelter years ago.  He found himself back after his beloved owner died.  We already know Rocky makes an awesome pet- he loves to be with people and just hang out, but he needs a home without other dogs or cats.  Don't waste any time- this handsome boy will get scooped up in no time!  For more information on Saffron, Rocky, and the other great animals at Last Hope Animal Shelter, check out their website at http://lasthopeanimalrescue.org/.  

And right next door at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter awaits Snow.  Sporting his very handsome pink bowtie, this handsome fella is a 2 yr old hound mix who just happens to be a 56 lb bundle of love. Snow is super sweet and friendly with all he meets, so head over to the TOH Animal Shelter and fall in love with him today!   

Remember I mentioned celebrities?  Well- how about adopting a super cool cat with a super cool name? Enter Jack Nicholson. Jack is an older guy that needs a nice home.  Jack is described by the staff as so easygoing, that he could be adopted by a first-time adopter and could even live with young children.
