Area Burglaries: Are You Concerned?

Monday's crash involving a police officer grew out of concerns over burglaries. How concerned are you?

Nassau County police officer was seriously injured Monday while onto the Southern State Parkway.

The officer was sent to the area because there's been a rash of burglaries recently, according to police.

Since October there have been 10 to 14 burglaries in the area, police have said.
