A Seaford man who was spotted trespassing at a home he'd been kicked out of was arrested for in Massapequa police said.
Christopher Kelly, 23, was seen on a property located on Remsen Street where he had been a tenant at about 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, according to cops. Somebody alerted the homeowner who called police.
When cops arrived Kelly was gone, but they discovered a van parked at the property which had been reported stolen from the Seaford LIRR station Monday hours before the Massapequa robbery.
The proceeds from the robbery and the weapon, a 10-inch wallboard saw, were recovered from the van.
Police canvassed the area and found Kelly a short time later.
He was charged with first degree robbery, grand larceny in connection with the van theft, weapons possession and criminal trespass.
