Attacking Prostitution in Nassau County

A sting operation resulted in more than 100 arrests in Nassau County. Is that the best way to combat prostitution.

More than 100 customers of the world's oldest profession have  found themselves in hot water with Nassau County authorities.

The Nassau County District Attorney and police announced the arrest of 104 men charged with soliciting a prostitute between April and May.

The arrests came as the result of an undercover sting operation involving bogus ads placed on a website.

We've also seen our share of undercover arrests of prostitutes in the area.
