Three men who cops spotted outside the AT&T store on Sunrise Highway just before were busted for attempted burglary, police said.
Cops went to the store after hearing a radio report of a cell phone store robbery in Suffolk County at 2:54 a.m., police said.
The officers were checking similar locations in Massapequa.
Upon arrival, cops found two men outside the stores front window who ran away when they saw the officers. After a brief chase, the two men were nabbed without incident.
Police then found a third man parked in a car near the store who was also arrested.
Police say the proceeds from the Suffolk County burglary were inside the car.
All three of the arrested men, Kareem Edney, 20, Valon, Vailes, 20 and Sterling Green, 20, are from Freeport.
They were charged with attempted burglary and possession of stolen property.
