Burglary and Crack Arrest on Elizabeth Street

Man arrested at unoccupied Massapequa home.

A man who broke into a Massapequa home faces burglary and drug charges after a neighbor spotted him and called authorities, cops said.

Warren Cooper, 23, of Roosevelt allegedly broke into the home on Elizabeth Street at 2:15 p.m. Monday. 

The neighbor, who knew the homeowners were away called police who nabbed Cooper as he tried to escape through the rear entrance of the home, cops said.
He was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and a ring he stole from the home, police said.

He was charged with burglary and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
