A car overturned on the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway Monday afternoon, injuring one person and causing traffic problems in the area, police said.
The accident occurred shortly after 12:30 p.m. on the northbound side of the Expressway.
One person was taken to a local hospital where their condition wasn't immediatlely known. All three northbound lanes and two southbound lanes of the expressway were closed because of the crash.

The southbound lanes were reopened about 90 minutes later. All but of the northbound lanes were reopened by evening rush.
