Cops: 5 Charged with Robbing Friend in Home

Three men robbed 24-year-old in his house with two women waiting in car.

Five people face robbery charges after they held up an acquaintance in his home Sunday night, according to Nassau County Police.

Cops said the 24-year-old victim was in his Broadway home when three men he knew came into the house. After 20 minutes in the house, one of the men, Nicholas Vairo, 21, of Levittown, took out a handgun and ordered the victim to get on the floor, detectives reported. Vairo then took cash, an electronic tablet, and two XBox controllers and fled with Michael Myers, 21, of Seaford, and Rajiv Singh, 19, of Bellmore, cops said.

The three drove away in a 1996 Geo Prizm, owned by Jessica Corsale, 20, of Massapequa, who was in the car with Melina James, 18, of Huntington Station, cops said.
