A 19-year-old has been charged in connection with several convenience store holdups since January, confirmed Nassau County Police.

Cops charged Keith Estrada, 19, of Roosevelt, with five counts of first-degree robbery and five counts of second-degree robbery. He was arraigned Wednesday.

Detectives said Estrada was involved in five robberies across the South Shore area, four of which were reportedly armed robberies.

Estrada was most recently involved in the April 3 robbery of a Hempstead 7-Eleven where detectives said he displayed a gun and stole money from a clerk. Estrada was stopped by First Precinct officers on Nassau Road and was found with a black BB gun and marijuana. He was charged at the scene.

An investigation led police to charge Estrada in the Hempstead holdup and four other incidents in January and February:

• On Jan. 2, an East Meadow 7-Eleven was held up by two men, armed with a handgun, who jumped a counter, stole an employee's wallet and cellphone as well as money from the register.

• On Jan. 18, a duo armed with silver handguns robbed a Merrick Road 7-Eleven in Baldwin, taking money from the register and stealing a clerk's cellphone.

• On Feb. 3, a USA Foodmart gas station in Roosevelt was held up using a black handgun, cops said. Subjects threw a clerk to the ground and took cash from the victim and from the register before fleeing.

• On Feb. 5, cops charged two men in an armed robbery of a Freeport 7-Eleven while continuing to look for two other men who were believed to be involved.

Let AL Sharpton explain to society why this thug is misunderstood. He'll tell you that this thug grew up without a father in the hood, and his mother was just the Baby Momma. So that's the reason he committed these crimes. Now let us tax payers give him Free Hot Lunch like they do in the hood.
