Cops Hunting Man Who Bought iPad with Stolen Credit Card

Nassau County Crime Stoppers are searching for a man they say stole a Massapequa resident's credit card and used it at a Valley Stream store.

Cops said a man used a stolen Visa credit card at Target on Sunrise Highway to buy a $286 iPad before fleeing the store.

The incident reportedly happened April 18 at 2 p.m.

The subject is described as a black male, between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet 2 inches, with a thin build. At the time, he was wearing distinctive bright trimmed sneakers, blue faded jeans, a gray button up coat, and a dark baseball style hat with a blue logo.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. ALl callers will remain anonymous.
