Westbury
Nassau County police are looking for a man who robbed a Bank of America branch on Friday.
Police said a male Hispanic entered the Bank of America located at 248 Post Avenue, showed a black handgun, threatened the use of a bomb and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect exited the bank with an undetermined amount of U.S. currency onto Post Avenue, fleeing in an unknown direction. Ten employees and five customers were in the bank at the time of the Robbery. No injuries were reported.

Garden City
Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in connection with a grand larceny that occurred at the Roosevelt Field Mall Sony Store in July.
According to police, on July 29 at approximately 12:50 p.m., the suspect was observed inside of the Sony Store. While present in the store, the suspect stole a woman’s wallet containing her credit cards and assorted personal items from the store counter.
The suspect then fled the scene with the victim’s property in an unknown direction, police said.
Huntington Station
Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating a crash that critically injured a bicyclist in Huntington Station early Saturday morning.
Jose Colatom 47, of Huntington Station, was riding his bicycle north on New York Avenue, approximately 50 feet north of Pulaski Road, at 4:42 a.m. when he was struck by a vehicle also traveling north on New York Avenue. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene. The vehicle was described as a light-colored SUV.
Babylon
A Seaford man was arrested Sunday night and charged with taking a lewd photograph inside a men's restroom at in Babylon.
New York State Park Police said a man told authorities that Eric K. Berger of Seaford had used a cellphone to snap photos in a public restroom near Parking Field 5 at around 7:30 p.m. Police said Berger, 33, "lowered his cellphone and took a picture of the man's private parts."
After taking the photograph, the two men got into a scuffle, with the victim attempting to grab Berger's cellphone, police said. The victim was eventually able to take the cellphone and locate a passing police car, according to authorities. Berger is charged with second-degree unlawful surveillance, which is a Class E felony.
Southold
A Southold policeman was hospitalized last week after arresting a Peconic man, who now faces felony assault charges after the incident.
Officer Brian McNamara was assisting Riverhead P.D. on Friday morning, attempting to arrest 36-year-old Alfredo Chitay on criminal contempt, harassment and criminal trespass charges following a domestic dispute, Southold Police said. While attempting to arrest Chitay, police said, the man fled and cops were forced to use physical force on the man. During the altercation, McNamara suffered a deep laceration to his right knee, police said. McNamara was hospitalized at Eastern Long Island Hospital and released later on Friday.
Chitay faces felony charges of second-degree assault, as well as a misdemeanor resisting arrest charge.
Riverhead
Riverhead Town police report that over a dozen cars were broken into in the Reeves Park area sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning. Police say although more than 12 cars were broken into, no glass appears to have been broken. A variety of items was stolen from the cars, police say, including a briefcase, loose coins and a GPS.
Flanders
Southampton Town Police detectives arrested Anthony Lloyd Pendelton, 17, of Flanders on Sunday at 10:39 p.m. and charged him with allegedly sexually abusing a five-year-old girl. Police say the incident occurred on Saturday at a Flanders residence.
