Police were called to the Big Chief Lewis building Friday morning after receiving a report of a low hanging wire.
Authorities came to the scene shortly after 8 a.m., lowered the wire down to street and put a traffic cone around it.
There was no fire according to police, and the Massapequa Fire Department did not respond to the scene.
