Boating Arrest Off Massapequa

Oyster Bay Constables make weekend arrest.

A man who was boating in the waters off Massapequa was busted over the weekend for opearating the vessel while intoxicated, authorities said.

Timothy O'Keefe, 25, was picked up at 8:25 p.m. Saturday night by Town of Oyster Bay constables.

He's been charged with operating a vessel while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana, according to court documents.

He was ordered held on $15,000 bond or $7,000 cash at his arraignment on Sunday, according to the Nassau County District Attorney's office.

The arrest has been one of several disturbing incidents in area waters this summer. Earlier this month  and crashing into dock outside of a home on Ocean Avenue in Massapequa.

Way to go Bay Constables. Thats 1 less idiot on the waters who can kill the innocent.
