Four Massapequa teens were arrested in a knifepoint robbery early Thursday morning, police said.
The teens went to Lindenhurst to drive a 20-year-old acquaintance home, shortly after 1 a.m. They drove into Massapequa and one of the teens, Joseph Fitzgerald, 17, allegedly pulled a knife on the man they were taking home and demanded money.
The teens then forced the victim out of the vehicle at the intersection of Sycamore Street and Seaford Avenue and drove away, police said. It wasn't immediately known how much was taken.
The victim, who was not hurt, went home and called cops.
A short time later, police stopped the Jeep the teens were riding in, which was owned by Tyler McDonough, 17, at Merrick Road and Park Boulevard.
Fitzgerald and McDonough were arrested, as were Joseph Blasi, 18, and Brandon Barrett, 17.
They were all charged with first degree robbery, while Fitzgerald also faces weapons possession charges, police said.
