Four Women Arrested in Massapequa Massage, Bribery Incident

After three masseuses were arrested, a woman identifying herself as the boss offered police money for their silence, cops said.

Four women were arrested Saturday after performing unlicensed massages on detectives and then offering to pay them off for silence, cops said.

According to police, three Flushing women all performed unlicensed massages to undercover cops and a male witness at 505 Hicksville Rd. in Massapequa.

After they were arrested, Hong Xie, 44, of Flushing, identified herself as the boss and allegedly offered police cash to allow her to run the business without a license and to allow the suspects free.

The three masseuses was charged with unauthorized practice of profession, while Xie was charged with third-degree bribery.
