Keeping Safe on Sunrise Highway

There were some frightening moments on Sunrise Highway Tuesday night, as a fiery accident threatened a Bellmore neighborhood. 

Two people were injured when a tanker plowed into the back of another vehicle  at a red light, according to police.

There were also people displaced from their homes because of the accident and there have been environmental concerns related to spilled fuel.

The crash is still being investigated but we want to get your thoughts about safety on Sunrise Highway. Is there too much traffic?  Do you feel drivers travel too fast?  What would you do about pedestrian accidents?
