On Friday, two Massapequa area men were charged in connection with a drug deal in Wantagh, according to police.
Police said they found a substance believed t be heroin in a car the two men, both 20, had been riding in. They also allegedly had other drugs in the car.
It's the latest frightening reminder of how the battle against drugs can affect young people in this area.
