Massapequa Crime Report: Two Homes Burglarized

Sept. 25-Sept 30.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Burglary

On Sept. 26, a burglary was reported on Clark Avenue in Massapequa, police said. The burglar entered through the back door and took jewelry and electronics, police said.

On Oct 1, a burglar entered a home on North Queens Avenue and took cash, cops said. The theft took place between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Assault

On Sept. 30 a man was punched in the face on Broadway in Massapequa at 9 p.m., police said.

Bicyle Theft

On Sept. 26 two bicycles were stolen on North Beech Street in Massapequa, police said. The thefts occurred between 11 p.m. the night before and noon.

Petty Larceny

On Sept. 29, a Wyandanch woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at  the Sunrise Mall, Massapequa and charged with petty larceny.

On Sept. 30, two  Westbury men were arrested at 5601 Merrick Road, Massapequa and charged with petty larceny.

On Sept. 26, a laptop was stolen from a black 2012 Buick and a GPS and XM radio were stolen from vehicles parked on West Bayview Street in Massapequa.
