Burglary
On June 6, a Massapequa man was arrested for two burglaries, police said. Dominic Scotto, 22, was arrested on Lake Shore Boulevard and charged in connection with a burglary at a home there at noon. Scotto allegedly entered through the front door and stole an iPod and some jewelry. He's also accused of stealing an iPod jewelry and cash from a home on Oxford Road.
On June 9, copper piping was reported from a vacant home under construction on Clocks Boulevard in East Massapequa, police said.
On June 11, a home on East Lake Avenue was broken into, police said.
Assault
On June 10, Anthony Patullo, 52 of Massapequa Park was arrested on Reiss Avenue and charged with assault 3rd.
DWI
On June 4, Zenon Chalamonski, 59 of Arvene was arrested on Sunrise Highway, Massapequa and charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated.
Grand Larceny
On June 6. someone broke into a car in the Sunrise Mall Parking lot and stole floor cleaning equipment, police said.
Petty Larceny
On On May 31, a Bethpage was arrested at Macy’s, at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.
On May 31, a Massapequa man was arrested and charged with petty larceny.
On June 1, a Bronx man was arrested at Wal-Mart, at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.
On June 2, an Amityville teen was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.
On June 2, a Brooklyn woman was arrested at Wal-Mart, at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.
On June 2, two Copiague men were arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.
On June 5, a Copiague woman was arrested at Macy’s at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.
On june 8, a Wyandanch woman was arrested at Sears at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.
Aggravated Unlicensed Operation
On May 30, a Massapequa man was arrested on Merrick Road near County Line Road, Massapequa and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 2nd and five violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
On June 8, a Woodhaven man was arrested on Sunrise Highway, Massapequa and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 3rd and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 2nd.
