Massapequa Crime Report: Car Theft

April 22 to April 30.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Car Theft
A car was stolen off a North massapequa street in the early morning hours of April 24, police said. The black 1998 Honda civic, which was parked on North Pine Street was swiped by an unknown person or persons sometime  between a .m. and 6 a.m., according to cops.

DWI/DWAI

A Wantagh woman was arrested on a North Massapequa on DWI charges on April 27, cops said. Jacqueline Walsh-Stone, was busted at 11:33 p.m. near the intersection of North Broadway and North Oak Street. Walsh-Stone, 37, was arrested at her home and also charged with two violations of the vehicle and traffic law.

On April 22, a Ronkonkoma woman was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Loudon Street and charged with driving with ability Impaired and seven violations othe vehicle and traffic law, police said. Megan Morseman, 21, was arrested at 7 p.m. , according to cops.

Grand Larceny

On April 29, a pocketbook was stolen from a locker at Xport Fitness at the Sunrise Mall, police said.

Larceny from Auto

On April 26 a printer and cash were reported  stolen from a vehicle parked in the driveway of North Queens Avenue, police said. The theft took place during the overnight hours.

On April 27, a pocketbook was stolen from a vehicle parked on Camp Road, police said.

On April 28, a cell phone was stolen from a vehicle parked on Lois Place in Massapequa, police said.
