Massapequa Crime Report: Larcenies, and Drug Arrests

Jan. 16 to Jan. 23.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions

Marijuana Arrests

On Jan. 17, two Massapequa men were arrested near the intersection of Hicksville Road and Sunrise Highway and charged with  criminal possession of marijuana, police said.

Petty Larceny

On Jan. 17, Three women were arrested at the Sunrise Mall Walmart and charged with petty larceny, cops said.

On Jan. 17 a West babylon man was arrested at the Sunrise Mall Macy's and charged with petty larceny, police said.

On Jan. 19, a Wantagh woman was arrested at the Walmart at the Sunrise Mall, police said.

Criminal Mischief

On Jan. 17, car was found damaged on Clover Drive in Massapequa Park, police said. Somebody scratched the front fender and driver's side panel.

On Jan. 22, a car parked on Baltimore Avenue was keyed and a lock was damaged, cops said. The incident occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 6: 30 p.m.
