Nassau PD needs to be more motivated and needs to have their sectors do more. This is NOT a lot to ask for from our police Dept. Nassau PD needs to have all officers who patrol steady sectors check parking lots, store fronts, rear alleys of stores, parks and schools. This is basic patrol that needs to be done to get real results. Nassau county is a ver high paid police Dept and we are all paying very high taxes for a bellow par police Dept.It isn't right.

Were paying 7% of pur taxes for all police, detective, and ambulance services and their pansions/benefits. On a $10,000 tax bill thats $700. Less than $2 a day. Not alot of money.
