Massapequa Mets Fan Arrested in No-Hitter Celebration

Two area residents charged with running onto the field.

A Massapequa man was one of two Long Island residents charged with running onto the field following New York Mets pitcher Johan Santana's  no-hitter Friday night, New York City Police said.

Raphael Diaz, 32, of Massapequa and John Ries, 25 of Ronkonkoma, were charged with joining the emotional celebration on the field after Santana pitched the first ever ho hit game in the 50 year-history of the New York Mets.

Video of the postgame celebration shows officials at Citi Field tackling somebody as the Mets piled on Santana to congratulate him.
