Nassau County police have released a photo of the suspect wanted in connection with last week's bank robbery in Massapequa.

The photo shows a man in sunglasses and a baseball cap inside the Capital One Bank at 5100 Sunrise Highway at 1:27 p.m. Aug. 8.

He handed the teller a note and demanded money, while motioning to his waistband, and threatening to shoot her, cops said.

He fled with an unknown amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his mid to late 20s about 5-feet-4 with a stocky build.

There is a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information should call crime stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. Callers will be kept confidential.
