Burglary

On Feb. 23, a home was broken into on Jones Court in Massapequa, police said. The burglar entered through the side door of the home some time between 8:30 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. and stole an undetermined amount of cash.

On Feb 26, Kenneth Lanning, 36 of  Massapequa, was arrested on Merrick Road near Massapequa Avenue, Massapequa and charged with driving while ability Impaired.

On Feb. 22, Jamie L Bergen, 23 of Massapequa Park, was arrested on Forest Avenue, Massapequa and charged with two counts of leaving the scene of an incident without a report.

Criminal Mischief

On Feb. 21 someone broke the window of a vacant business on Broadway in Massapequa at 9:15 p.m.

Petty Larceny

Feb. 22, a Richmond Hill man was arrested at 5500 Sunrise Highway, Massapequa and charged with three counts of petty larceny.

On Feb. 22, a Howard Beach man was arrested at Waldbaums, 5500 Sunrise Highway and charged with petty larceny.

On Feb 22, a Central Islip woman was arrested at at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny and  criminal mischief.

On Feb. 22, a West Babylon woman was arrested at Hollister at the  Sunrise Maland charged with petty larceny.

On Feb. 23, a  Lindenhurst woman was arrested at at the Sunrise Mall, and charged with petty larceny.

On Feb. 24,  a Massapequa man  was arrested at the Seventh Precinct in Seaford and charged with petty larceny.

On Feb. 24, a Massapequa Park  woman was arrested at Wal-Mart, 200 Sunrise Mall  and charged with petty larceny.

On Feb. 25, an Amityville teen was arrested at at the Sunrise Mall, Massapequa and charged with petty larceny.
