Police Blotter: DWI Arrests in Massapequa Park

Jan. 10 to Jan 18.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

DWI Arrests

On Jan. 10, Daniel P Tigue, 21, of Massapequa, was arrested on Clark Street near Fourth Avenue in Massapequa Park and charged with driving while intoxicated and two violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

On Jan. 14, Christopher P Gennari, 27 of Rockville Centre, was arrested on Front Street near Seventh Avenue, Massapequa Park and charged with driving while intoxicated and one violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

Burglaries

On Jan. 13, a home was broken into on Clocks Blvd, police said. The burglary occurred during the overnight hours, as the thief pried open the front door and stolea camera, plasma TV game console, laptops and jewelry.

A home on Dover street was broken into sometime between Jan. 14 and Jan. 18, cops said. The theief broke in through a basement window and stole copper piping.

Petty Larceny

 On Jan 10, a Copiague woman was arrested at the l and charged with petty larceny.

On Jan 10, a North Massapequa  man was arrested at t at the  Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny.

On Jan 10, a  Massapequa  woman was arrested at at the Sunrise Mall, and charged with petty larceny.

On Jan 11, a Massapequa man was arrested at Pathmark, 941 Carmans Road, Massapequa and charged with petty larceny.

 On Jan. 14, a Babylon  woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall, and charged with petty larceny.

On Jan. 16, a Patchogue man was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall, Massapequa and charged with petty larceny.

On Jan. 16, a Patchogue  woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petit Larceny.

Auto Theft

On Jan. 18, a 1999 Honda Civic was reported stolen from a driveway on Melrose Avenue, police said.

Grand Larceny

On Jan, 17, a car parked on Erlwein Court in Massapequa was broken into during the overnight hours, police said. The thief made off woth a pocketbook containing money, credit cards and checkbooks.

Criminal Mischief

On 01/14, a Massapequa man was arrested on Clocks Blvd. and charged with criminal mischief 4th.

Aggravated Unlicensed Operation

On 01/18, Keith Johnson, age 44 of Smith Street, Massapequa Park was arrested on Sunrise Highway, Seaford and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle 2nd.
