Police Blotter: Pair of Auto Thefts in Area

On Feb. 26, a car was reported stolen in North Massapequa. The owner parked the gray 2004 Chevy Malibu on North Suffolk Avenue and when she returned it was missing.

On Feb. 28, the owner of a blue 2005 Toyota reported it stolen. It had been parked on Central Avenue in Massapequa.

On Feb. 25, the owner of a blue Ford Explorer parked on Harmony Drive in Massapequa Park discovered that someone had broken the vehicle's rear window overnight.

On Feb. 26, A 2010 black chevy parked on Roy Avenue in Massapequa was shot with paintballs.

On Feb. 28, the owner of a 2009 white Volkswagon Jetta parked on North Pine Street in North Massapequa was found covered with a paint like substance and eggs. the words "jump off" were written on the car in black marker.

On Feb.24, Daniel G Moran, 33, of Syosset, was arrested on Beverly Avenue and Cartwright Boulevard, Massapequa Park was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Refusal to take a Breath Test and Leaving the Scene without a Report.

On Feb.24, a West Babylon woman was arrested at Wal-Mart, at the Sunrise Mall  and charged with Petit Larceny.

On Feb. 25, two West Islip women were arrested at Macy’s, at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petit Larceny.

On Feb. 25, a Central Islip woman was arrested at Hollister, at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petit Larceny.

On Feb. 26, an Amityville  teen was arrested at Hollister, at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petit Larceny.

On  Feb. 27, Arielle Schroder, 25,  of Massapequa, was arrested on Hicksville Road, Pittsburgh Avenue, Massapequa and charged with Driving While Intoxicated and two violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

On Feb. 27, Two Brentwood women, a Melville woman and a Central Islip woman were arrested at Hollister at the Sunrise Mall, and charged with Petit Larceny.

On  feb. 28, a West Babylon man was arrested at JC Penny at the Sunrise Highway and charged with Petit Larceny.
