Police Blotter: Robbery and Arrest at Walmart

April 5 to 12.

The following arrest information was supplied by the 7th precinct of the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

On April 6, a Massapequa man was charged in a robbery at Walmart, police said.  Paul Agola allegedly tried to steal a rechargeable razor at the store at 3 p.m. When security came he got into an altercation pushing and punching one of the guards. Agola was charged with Robbery 3rd.

On April 6, a home on Erlwein Court was broken into, police said. The owner reported $100, two laptops, jewelry and a coin collection was taken by a thief who climbed through an open window.

On April 7, the owner of a home on Atlantic Avenue in Massapequa Park told police that someone broke into the home through a bathroom window, and took some medication.

On April 11, a home on Lourae Drive was broken into, police said. The front door had been pried open and a nightstand drawer was opened and the contents were disheveled, police said.

On April 9, a wallet containing $380, a debit card and some personal papers was stolen from a front porch on North Hickory Street, police said. The theft occurred sometime between 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

On April 6, an Amityville  woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall  and charged with Petit Larceny.

On April 8, Jarrett M Slionski, 30, of  Middle Island, was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Ocean Avenue, Massapequa and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed 2nd and 1 violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

On April 8, Lura J Flynn, 39, of Massapequa, was arrested on Connecticut Avenue near First Street, Massapequa Park and charged with Aggravated Unlicensed 2nd and Alcohol in Park.

On April 8, Eftihia Sakoulas, 28 ,of Bohemia was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Ocean Avenue, Massapequa and charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd.

On April 9, Jamal A Thalib, 28, of  Massapequa, was arrested on Merrick Road near Redwood Lane, Massapequa and charged with Failure to Deliver Suspended Plates, Aggravated Unlicensed 2nd, and 4 violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Laws.

On April 9, a Roosevelt woman and a Massapequa woman were arrested at Macy’s at the Sunrise Mall, Massapequa and charged with Petit Larceny.

On April 10, Raymond G Veneziano, 19, of  Massapequa, was arrested on Merrick Road, Massapequa and charged with Driving While Intoxiacted, Aggravated Unlicensed 1st, and 2 violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.
