Police blotter: St. Patrick's Weekend DWI Arrests

March 13 to March 20

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

DWI

On March 17, Kelley S Selby, 50, of Lindenhurst was arrested on Merrick Road near Alhambra Road, Massapequa and charged with driving while intoxicated and four violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

On March 18, Gerard Cain, 39, of Massapequa Park was arrested on Merrick Road, Massapequa and charged with driving while intoxicated.

On March 18, Gary H Walsh, 56, of Deer Park was arrested in the parking lot at 1 Sunrise Mall, Massapequa and charged with driving while intoxicated and one violation of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

On March 18, Mariela Mendez, 38, Lindenhurst was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Louden Street, Massapequa and charged with driving while intoxicated and threee violations of the Vehicle and Traffic Law.

On March 19, Tarsha Lyons, 71, of Amityville was arrested in Carman’s Plaza Parking Lot, 901 Carmans Road, Massapequa and charged with driving while intoxicated.

Falsifying Business Records/Identity Theft

On March13, Andre K Hardaway, 29, of East Meadow was arrested at TD Bank, 4126 Merrick Road, Massapequa and charged with two counts of falsifying business records 1st, identity theft 2nd and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 2nd.

Grand Larceny

On March 16, a wallet was taken from a shopping cart in the on Hicksville Road, police said. A woman had lleft the wallet in her car at about 1:20 p.m. and discovered it was missing when she returned.

Petty Larceny

On March 13, two Wyandanch women were arrested at , at the Sl and charged with petty larceny.

On March 13, a Massapequa woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall and charged with Petit Larceny.

On March 14, a Wyandanch woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall, Massapequa and charged with petty larceny.

On March 17, a Huntington  woman was arrested atat the Sunrise Mall,  and charged with petty larceny.

On March17, a Lindenhurst woman was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall and charged with petty larceny and three counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

On March 18, a Copiague woman was arrested at Macy’s at the Sunrise Mall, Massapequa and charged with petty larceny.
