Police Blotter: Two Homes Burglarized

Jan. 19 to Jan. 23.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Burglary

On Jan. 20, a burglar took three TVs and an Xbox game system from a home on Clocks Boulevard, police said. The thief broke in through the front door between 2:20 p.m. and 5:20 p.m.

On Jan. 20, a home was broken into on Hamilton Avenue between 5p.m. and 6 p.m., police said. THe burglar made off with money jewelry and personal papers.

Grand Larceny

On Jan. 19, a man stole two iPhones from the shelves, of the at about 9:30 p.m. ,police said. 

Petty Larceny

On Jan. 20, a Massapequa woman was arrested at JC Penney, at the and charged with petty larceny.

On Jan. 20,  a Lindenhurst woman was arrested at at the Sunrise Mall, and charged with petty larceny.

On Jan. 20, an Amityville man was arrested at Wal-Mart at the Sunrise Mall,  and charged with petty larceny.

On Jan. 23, two cars were broken into on Carmans Road, cops said. The front passenger window of a  2004 gray Mazda was broken by somebody who stole a pocketbook containing a wallet with cash and personal papers between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. At around the same time, somebody broke into the passenger side window of a 2005 black Mercedes and stole an iPad.
