A teen who broke into a Massapequa Park pharmacy was arrested Wednesday night for trying to steal prescription drugs, police said.
Andrew Walsleben, 16, allegedly broke into the front window of Arlo Drug Store on Front Street at 11:40 p.m.
Witnesses called police when they allegedly saw Walsleben run out of the pharmacy and head towards the back of the building, authorities said.
Wasleben, who was bleeding from his head and legs after cutting them on the glass, was nabbed by authorities a short distance later.
Police said he took more than $3,000 worth of prescription drugs. The teen was charged with burglary, possession of a controlled substance, possession of stolen property and criminal mischief.
