A drunk Massapequa Park man was charged with boating while intoxicated after crashing into an elderly woman's boat dock at 2:30 a.m., police said.
John McKnight, 36, allegedly slammed into the dock at the end of Ocean Avenue and then left the scene without identifying himself.
After the 75-year-old woman alerted authorities, Nassau County marine police located McKnight. He was charged with operating a vessel while intoxicated, failure to stop or report a boat accident and navigational lights not displayed.
Police said the crash did about $1,000 damage to the dock.
