Police: Gunpoint Robbery in North Massapequa
Two teenaged girls robbed on Broadway early Friday.
Two teenaged girls were robbed at gunpoint in North Massapequa early Friday morning, Nassau County Police said.
The girls, ages 17 and 18, were walking on Broadway near North Boston Avenue at 2:56 a.m. They were approached by two men one of whom was armed with a handgun, police said.
The men took two backpacks, two cell phones and a wallet and fled in an unknown direction, police said. The victims told police the robbers were male blacks but were unable to provide a further description.
