Police: Masked Man Robs Dairy Barn

Monday night robbery at Massapequa store.

A hulking, masked robber held up the Dairy Barn on North Broadway Monday night, cops said.

The thief, who was carrying a serrated weapon, which police believe might be a dry wall saw struck at 9:15 p.m. 

He walked into the store and demanded money from the cashier, who was alone inside.  The robber then reached into the cash register and grabbed an unknown amount of cash before fleeing on foot towards North Maple Street, police said.

He is described as a white male about 6-feet-four to 6-feet-5 inches tall and weighing about 230 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, a light gray jacket and dark pants. The weapon he was carrying had a reddish handle.
