East Islip man arrested Thursday.

A man who worked for a Massapequa Park carpet installer was arrested Thursday for stealing more than $117,000 from the business, police said.

Matthew Zaroba, 46, of East Islip, allegedly stole from the company between June 2009 and January 2011.

Zaroba, who worked for A&M Flooring, obtained checks made payable to the business, but deposited them to another account not owned by the  company.

A&M discovered money was missing and contacted police, who arrested Zaroba after an investigation.

He was charged with grand larceny.
