Police: Mother Robbed Walmart In Front of Three Year Old Son

Massapequa mom also faces drug charge.

A Massapequa mother robbed the Sunrise Mall Walmart while she had her three-year-old son with her, police said.

Jaime Donnelly, 22, was spotted by a security guard stuffing items including cosmetics and clothing, into her handbag without paying for them on Tuesday night, according to cops.

When the guard confronted Donnelly, she allegedly struck him with her key chain cutting him above his right eye. He was treated and released at an area hospital.

Police arrived at the store and said they found pills believed to be Oxycodone in Donnelly's possession.

She was charged with robbery, possesion of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child.

The boy was released into the custody of his grandmother.
