Raymond Roth Pleads Not Guilty

Appears in Court to answer to attempted kidnapping charges.

Raymond Roth, the man accused of faking his death at Jones Beach last year has plead not guilty to  attempted kidnapping charges.

Roth was remanded without bail following his arraignment in front of Judge Tammy Robbins in Nassau County Court, according to court papers.

It was not the first time Roth appeared in in court to enter a plea.  He agreed to a plea bargain March 21 that would allow him to serve 90 days in jail on charges that he faked his own death to collect  insurance money in July.

But later that same day, police said he claimed he was a police officer while following a woman in Freeport.
